So what reveals a study of Redalia, which draws attention to certain sites such as those that depend on media and public entities.

So says a study that has been carried out Redalia in full 2017. Nearly 1 out of every 2 web pages, among the most popular ones that exist in Spain, it is not secure. And is that a high percentage of the pages or have a wrong configuration or there is to look at them directly unsafe. Such is the current situation that Redalia specifies that more than one-third, or even account with SSL security.

This firm specialized in online security has inquired about the status of HTTPS of fifty pages, that accumulate the 25 % of the traffic in our country.

The 10 most visited, that is is,,,, is,,, and, all of them dependent of technology companies, have HTTPS active, default and without errors.

But, from there come the bugs. Redalia calls attention to the little security  in the media most visited. In fact, none fulfilled in terms of protocol. Do not have a SSL certificate for encryption. “This means that when a person enters your site, the communication can be intercepted and modified by third people”, warn from Redalia.

is Also concerned about the situation of the public administrations “usually provide certificates self-signed, or signed by the MINT, that not being authorized entities and recognized at the world level for this purpose, are marked as unsafe”, explain the authors of the study. In the case of the Ministry of Justice, the Radio and Public Television and the Board of Andalusia, the pages lack even of such a self-signed certificate.

Others who should improve are the sites for adults, online services forums and blogs, political parties, and some web pages of e-commerce.
