This agreement doubles the number of operators present in the data center Interxion in Amsterdam.

Interxion has announced the acquisition of the line-of-business data centers Vancis Holding company LV, a provider Dutch colocation, cloud and managed services based in the Science Park of Amsterdam.

The data center acquired, now known as the “Interxion Science Park”, is a node connectivity key for the customers that provide service in the Netherlands and Western Europe. About 75% of its 1,800 square metres of technical space is occupied with 2.5 MW of power for customers.

This installation, with access to more than 100 operators of telecom and ISPs, doubles the number of operators present in the data center Interxion in Amsterdam and allows customers in this metropolitan area to interconnect with low latency and reduced cost.

The data center acquired is located in area with greater connectivity to Amsterdam and there are options to expand the capacity of the current facilities at the Science Park.

The customers of data centers Interxion in Schiphol and in the Science Park will enhance the connectivity options in the two locations, including major international operators, more than 40 ISPs, points to neutral and the main platforms for the cloud at the global level.
