A customer service functionality will soon debut in the messaging application.

 

Very soon, WhatsApp users will be able to directly communicate with the companies that use the application.

That will be possible thanks to a new customer service functionality that will arrive soon at WhatsApp and will allow users to communicate with companies in the image and likeness of how they do it on Facebook Messenger and Twitter.

There will be a green icon next to the contact name in the case of an account belonging to a business, set out in ITProPortal .

As has been revealed, every time a user starts a conversation with a company, all messages will appear in yellow in those chats , so that they can be distinguished well against they receive from conventional users.

As with other WhatsApp functions in the past, is still in the testing phase , which can be enjoyed by a small number of companies that are part of a pilot project .

At the moment there is no official date for its premiere but it is to expect its arrival to occur relatively soon .
