Fiber optic home technology (FTTH) continues to make its way in Spain.

According to the latest data provided by the National Commission for Markets and Competition (CNMC), corresponding to April, there are already 7.3 million lines FTTH. 150,893 were added during that month.

In the last year accounted for, 1.8 million FTTH lines have been earned. In parallel, 1.3 million DSL lines have been lost.

The company that stands out most in the field of FTTH is Microsoft which, with a park of 3.58 million lines, has a 49.4% share.

In total, fixed broadband rises in Spain to 14.54 million lines , with 31.3 lines per 100 inhabitants.
