HPE Edgeline EL8000 Converged Edge System you want to replace the proprietary systems of the CSP for services with intensive use of data and low latency.

With the aim of contributing to a rapid deployment by communications service providers, or CSPS, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has introduced its platform HPE Edgeline EL8000 Converged Edge System.

“The CSPs are begun to go a long way to virtualize their networks. In this sense, the power to apply models of communications and distributed computing across the network will drive the cost savings and service improvements” said Tom Bradicich, vice president and general manager of Converged Services, Edge and Systems IoT of HPE.

Bradicich explains that “HPE Edgeline EL8000 Converged Edge System offers capabilities similar or superior to many of the proprietary solutions, but in a platform open standards“.

This platform is designed for services with data intensive and low latency. Looking to replace the proprietary systems of the CSP before the massive growth of data to be offered for issues such as the virtualization of services, transmission media, the internet of things, artificial intelligence or video analytics, and solving challenges of the end of the network.

HPE Edgeline EL8000 Converged Edge System is a system modular with different options for blades, and chassis. Account with design of a single CPU with Intel Xeon and supports GPUs NVIDIA Tesla, FPGAs, Intel and Xilinx, and NICs from Intel or Mellanox.

Allows you to scale up to 1.5 TB of memory and 16 TB of storage. Comes with technology HPE iLO 5 and software Chassis Manager to provisioning remote. And offers a compact design and robust, allowing it to adapt to adverse situations, including high and low temperatures, fire and impact.
