Four years ago, SoftBank completed the acquisition of the British chip company Arm .

He paid more than 30 billion dollars for it, with the aim of advancing in the thriving segment of the Internet of Things.

Now you might be considering giving it an exit . According to information from Bloomberg , there would have been contacts between SoftBank and Nvidia for the latter to take over Arm’s assets.

Although at the moment the protagonists have not spoken about it and the entry on the scene of other buyers is not ruled out, if this sale occurs, it has the potential to become one of the largest mergers between semiconductor firms.

The value of Arm is estimated at around 44 billion, more than SoftBank once paid for it.
