The lack of budget and personnel is the reason behind the shortage of companies that have already implemented effective solutions for smartphones and tablets.

The level of protection of the companies, from the point of view of mobile, it still leaves to be desired. That is what is derived from “The Growing Threat of Mobile Device Security Breaches”, a study of Dimensional Research sponsored by the security firm Check Point.

according To this study, up to a 64 % own experts in cyber security have doubts about your company might be able to defend against an attack launched against their mobile devices, such as smartphone and tablets. Is more, a fifth admitted that his company has already become the victim of a cyber attack of this kind, and almost a quarter not known if the terminals of its workers may have been exposed.

“The professionals of cyber-security are forced to fight to protect these terminals to full speed”, comments David Gehringer, principal, Dimensional Research. “The most responsible of safety appointment the lack of resources as the main reason for not implementing an effective solution”. So make it 6 out of 10, either because of a shortage of budget or personnel.

“The data of the survey show that businesses are at real risk of a violation of your mobile security”, adds Michael Shaulov, ceo of mobile products and cloud security Check Point.

“Only 38 % use a solution to keep safe your devices and the data they contain against the attacks” that does not remain in what is offered by the solutions EMM. “Due to the use of smartphone and tablets in the companies is the order of the day, it is necessary to protect them”, remarks the expert.

Although the situation is not ideal, it does highlight that there are many organizations that allocate far more resources than in the past. This is important, especially if you take into account the cost of a gap cell. The 37 % estimated that a gap-mobile would cost you over $ 100,000, and the other 23 % is pointing to more than half-a-million to reverse the effects.
