Huawei announced another new device under the Honor brand, called Honor 8. As expected, the smartphone was very impressive regarding hardware and boasts a premium assembly with a metal frame and a back glass panel.

The smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a curved glass 2.5D. The pixel density does not reach the flagship smartphones, but still, 424 pixels per inch is impressive. The display also boasts a 96% color gamut coverage, which is indeed beautiful. Honor 8 operates on the 8-core Kirin 950 chipset with a clock speed of 2.3 GHz and Mali T880MP4 GPU. The basic version of the smartphone is equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, while more expensive versions have 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal memory. It also has a microSD memory card slot so that you can expand the mind to 128GB. However, Huawei used a hybrid slot for two SIM cards on the Honor 8, so you can develop the mind if you use only one SIM card.

Now let’s talk about cameras on Honor 8. Like the latest flagship devices from Huawei, Honor 8 is equipped with two cameras on the rear panel with two 12MP sensors. Rear cameras offer laser technology of automatic focusing, pixel size 1.4 microns, two-tone LED flash and f / 2.2 aperture of 6P lenses. Also, there is around fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, similar to several Huawei smartphones released this year. The front camera on the Honor 8 comes with a resolution of 8 megapixels and works in tandem with the aperture of the f / 2.4 lens.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the company with the user interface EMUI 4.1.

Huawei Honor 8 can now be ordered in China, more extensive distribution is scheduled for July 19. The base version with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory at a price of 1999 yuan ($ 299). If you want a version with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, you will need to pay 2,999 yuan ($ 343). The top version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory at a price of 2,499 yuan (374 dollars). Color options include pearl white, golden sunrise, black midnight, pink Sakura and blue sapphire.
